The area's 23 miles of beaches are up to 500 feet wide at low tide, which make them perfect for sand castle building, cycling, jogging, fishing or just relaxing in the sun. While at the beach, watersports enthusiasts can grab a surfboard, launch a boat or head out for a parasailing adventure. The choice i yours! While driving is permitted on 11 miles of the 23-mile long beach area, four pedestrian-only zones are found at various intervals. The most central predestrian beach zone is found north and south of the historic Daytona Beach Pier at the intersection of Main St. and International Speedway Blvd.

Several mural have sound. Look for our one-of-a-kind trash containers, all in different shapes and sizes. Put some trash in our little yellow car, and hear the engine rev, then breaks queal, and there is a terrible crash. Cheack out our stream engine trash container, and listen to the train coming into the station. You will find a fishing shack, turpentine stump, bear container, and many more, 17 in all. Each container is a companion piece to a mural. Fifty birds painted on the walls of the business sction, 27 clown cutouts, and two clown benches round out some of the exciting pieces of art awaiting your enjoyment in our unique town.

With an annual average temperature of 75 degrees, Florida's Gulf Islands keeps a warm, year-round feeling of summer seclusion. A brilliant and fragrant floral parade of passion flowers, hibiscus, striking bougainvillea, cheery alamanda, and jasmine color the inland landscape. And a seven-mile streach of powder-soft sandy beaches, dotted with wipsy sea oats and scrubby Australian pines, lines a shimmering expanse of emerald gulf waters.

Now Naples is staring to draw a younger, more dynamic crowd attracted to outdoorsy pursuits off the course, high-end shopping and late-night noshing all in a laid-back, upscale setting with enough cultural interest to support more than 130 art galleries and a symphony orchestra.
